Creative Edge Art Program

What is the Creative Edge?

The Brownwood Art Association is pleased to introduce Creative Edge, a new after-school arts enrichmentprogram designed for students ages 16–18 who have a passion for creativity and would benefit from additional opportunities to develop their artistic talents.

Creative Edge provides a safe, welcoming environment where young artists can explore both traditional and digital art through structured instruction and independent studio time. Participants will work alongside experienced artists, instructors, and volunteers while developing creative skills, building confidence, and connecting with peers who share their interests.

Program highlights include:

●      Instruction in a variety of traditional art mediums

●      Digital art using iPads and Apple Pencils

●      Guest artists and inspiring speakers

●      Independent studio time for personal projects

●      Workshops, demonstrations, and special events scheduled throughout the semester

●      All materials are provided at no cost to the participants.

Opening is planned for September 2, 2026, September 3, 2026, 5:00 to 7:00 pm, and September 5th 2:00 to 4:00pm with all sessions held at the Brownwood Art Center on the following days each week through December 2026:
